Evening!

After the patch my computer peformance got worse. I get bad FPS and the game does not run as smooth anymore.

Anyone got tips for adjusting cfg files? I'm totally new in this and what can i adjust to make my experience better?

I currently use this setup:
Everything on LOW except for texturing: that one is on HIGH.
Average fps is around 30-50. Before patch: around 90-120.

i7 2500K Stock speed
2x GTX 460 OC
HyperX 8GB RAM
650W AX Pro series from Corsair.

No faulty ram, no dust, optimal airflow, all good temps.

My computer isnt that much of a old potato. The GPU have both 1GB on board.

Any idea's how to improve my peformance?

Thanks..

Right.

d3d10_TripleBuffering = 1
d3d11_TripleBuffering = 1
d3d9_TripleBuffering = 1
sys_budget_streamingthroughput = x * 1024
sys_LocalMemoryGeometryStreamingSpeedLimit = x
sys_LocalMemoryTextureStreamingSpeedLimit = x
sys_streaming_max_bandwidth = x

sys_MaxFPS = 58
cl_fov = 79

sys_budget_videomem = 1024

r_MultiThreaded = 2
r_GeomInstancing = 1
r_multiGPU = 1
r_silhouettePOM = 0
r_stereodevice = 0
r_UsePOM = 0

r_WaterUpdateThread = 2
sys_TaskThread1_CPU = 0
sys_streaming_CPU = 2
sys_physics_CPU = 3
sys_TaskThread5_CPU = 3

e_GsmCache = 1
r_FogShadows = 0
q_ShaderWater = 0

How do you get "x"?

I've done zero work with SLI, so I can only assume you type in the VRAM of an individual card into "sys_budget_videomem" and you'll have to tell me what the "How to SLI" treads say. ;)

High Textures weight about 1200MB on the video card, but setting "sys_budget_videomem" should handle that responsibly well, but really, you use Medium for 1GB cards …

The tread sorting was done on a friends i7-3770, but while Hyperthreading is a boon, I don't believe I'd change them settings for a vanilla quad-core.

You'll want to test Glow settings, and PostAA (FXAA requires a GTX 6x0, or later I'm thinkin' of TXAA)

Got $400 for a pair of GTX 960s? :lol:

Oops: Forgot "sys_budget_soundCPU = 5"
