The new UI is great but I'm finding that switching to another mech takes longer in the new UI than in the old one. In the old one I mainly used the mechlab to select mechs so it took me just 1 click and a bit of scrolling to select another mech. In the new one it takes two clicks, one to open the dropdown and another to select the mech. This becomes particularly noticeable when I'm leveling the variants of a single chassis. In the old UI the variants are right next to each other so switching is a breeze. In the new UI every time I need to switch to another variant it takes two clicks, and would need scrolling if the mech chassis is unlucky enough to be near the tail end of the list.

I suggest that there be another dropdown at the top of the mech selection list called "Recently Used" which contains the last 4-5 mechs you dropped in, and that it default to expanded when the selection list is brought up. This way it would be easy to switch to another mech that you recently were in and would solve my problems when switching to another variant.
