A few hours ago I got this email:

Hello Patu,

I've got an update for you. As of this morning, you can change mech.

To change mech, as long as you have the Elite packaged purchased, go to http://mwomercs.com/founders, log in and click the box that reads "Choice of 1 Founder's Mech". In the window that opens up, select your mech and then click "Submit". It will now be your selected mech for the Elite Founder's package. For the moment, you can change mech as many times as you want but come August 7th, the choice will be final.

See you in game!

Hope it's okay that I post it here. Just wanted to let everyone know, since it was a common issue.

I can confirm this is safe. Sign in, and click the founders program now on sale BUY NOW!, and click the box with founder mech choice.

For any paranoid people out there that don't want to click his link you can just do the following:

1. Up above on this page there is the thing to click to buy a founders package. Click it (You do NOT need to buy it again for this, but the link to change your mech is in there)

2. Under the list of what you get for Elite there is the box that says Choice of 1 Founder's Mech, click that box and it gives a popup where you can re-select your mech.


3. Select your new mech choice and hit submit.

Considering that being able to change your choice can't be a high priority item for the Devs a month before August 7th, it's pretty damn good of 'em to make that possible for the Elite Founders now. Nice job PGI.

I hate you!

I choose the Catapult and now I have 1 month to think about if this is the right choice. I will probably change between the Atlas and the Catapult every day ;-)
