I like this mech... often do better in it, but the team collapsed as a whole.

Kintaro ... only one I have left, the GB. Yeah, it has LRM5s, but it also has 3 x ML... the most mixed loadout the chassis can have.

Wait, I thought this started this weekend?
Well, whatever, placeholder!!!!

Also, will likely post from 2 accounts, as I run all my Clan Mechs on my "Illya Arkhipova" acct....and Summoner and Gargles fun must be had!

Keep in mind, I almost ALWAYS run my SMN-P either Bone stock, or lightly modified, will post both builds used.

well, had plans to post a bunch of stuff from different chassis, as I struggled to climb mount TryHard in various Bads.... but the problem this weekend hasn't been the chassis so much as the horrible teams. Every single matching mind numbing gutless hide and peek. Stomp after stomp, that I just can't bring myself to drop anymore this weekend. The idiot quotient is just too high.

is 2 weeks recent enough?

This is from the time I had bad internet and only a poor notebook to play (holidays at the sea... so nice).
However because reasons I build my quickdraw around 3 LRM10, just to see if I can troll the world in it, and to see if I can hit csands highscore thread (1000dmg).

Posted Image

I was so surprised and actually still am that this quicky makes the overquirked hunchback 4j look like a newb.

If the Repair tool ever finishes and let me download the new patch, I'll post a screen of the build, but it's essentially 3LRM10, 2ML, XL280 and nearly 2000 missiles.

So in the end, quickies aren't bad mechs. You just need a tough mancard (that's a level 2 card) and enough hate on the world (and the mech) to drive this thing home :D

Okay, let's get this party started. First off, the Man'o'War. Or, as it is called in this thread, the Gargoyle.

Spoiler

Now, onto the real dark horse of my line up, and my actual submission. The Orion...

Spoiler

Oh. Also, if you could tell me how to run one of those mech video thingies, I'd be happy to show off this build. It's a blast. I can actually run this one for the point event without worry.

Non-Meta tends to go straight to LRMs for me...so I decided to give them a try. Then promptly remove them.

Adder with 2 LRM15s, 2 ERSLs, TAG
Spoiler

Someone questioning my Mr Gargles builds, as well as why he's always depressed. (LRM40, TAG, 6 ERSL)
Spoiler

Mr Gargles does look quite silly with LRMs.

Someone compared it to holding a handbag...I can almost see it.

This Mr Gargles (in the group queue) used SRMs, an ERPPC, and the same 6 ERSLs.
Spoiler

Also had a nice round last weekend...but that was too early to qualify. 6 ERSLs and a UAC20, all arm mounted on the A variant (no CT weapons). 6 kills, 1k damage...but not sure if that's considered too Meta or not. On the one hand, Mr Gargles (least favoured variant to boot), on the other, lazors+Dakka.

I'm glad you posted this thread.

I re checked my Pre order and found my a la carte Mauler changed to a Black Knight. I put in a ticket to correct this mistake.

Got a few games in over lunch today. Ran my Trebuchet 7M for 3 games, where I did decent, though not as high as I have with this mech. Mostly matchmaker deciding to keep me down. :)

Still though, took top in my lance each time. Same build I've run on my 7M since I got it back when they were new.

Ran my Dragonslayer as well, but both matches were blowouts, and not very fun.

Will see about running my Awesomes later - no worries, not running 3PPC. :)

Had a couple of matches in my Non-meta, STD engine, Brawler Quickdraw that is as bad as it sounds.
It's still my favorite mech.
Two decent matches:
Spoiler

UPDATE: Just had one of the most fun and highest scored QKD-4G games i've had. Lots of kills, decent damage. 2/5 of the kills were "solo kills", if i remember correctly. AND i broke the 200k C-bill barrier (220k) even if you ignore the Premium bonus. Really proud of this one
Spoiler

UPDATE 2: ANOTHER super successful Quickdraw match, were i performed EVEN better. Jesus, it was so fun, the match ended with the timer, because our all team were left in shambles, completely broken, just waiting the counter out inside our base, while the enemy tried the last desperate push on our base to win the game. It's another 200k+ C-bill game and it was an absolute thrill in a Brawler.
Spoiler

Here's the build, so you could avoid it like the plague (seriously, don't use that many jump jets, not worth it, either use the tonnage for more heatsinks or for a bigger engine)
Spoiler

To be honest, it's such a relief to play my Quickdraw again, after trying to elite out the Cataphracts.

UPDATED 6/18

This was my first mech that I bought with my cadet C Bills so it holds a permanent place in my hangar. No matter how many times I've thought about selling it I just can't.

The matches were OK but I always have fun rolling in this mech especially with all of the EBJ's out today.. I have a mini goal now of getting its' kdr a little closer to even. This being the first mech I owned it went through a lot of the learning curve with me (dying). ;)

EDIT: Update 6/18

Pulled those last results today in my first battle after I got home from work. That is the best match I've ever had in my KTO. Oh yeah, and for what it is worth this mech has just basic skills as it is the only KTO chassis I own.

Cool contest btw DJ.

Okay folks, let me spin you a tale of epic bravery and Urbanmech awesomeness, of trial Victors rounding out a CW drop deck and serious fun to be had whilest pugging in CW.

Spoiler

And so, In defense of the Federated Commonwealth, the Urbies strike out once more!

Spoiler

Gimme a bit to try and figure out how to get the full mechbay spread, but I made sure to include each of my weapon load outs in each picture. Though I hafta say, I should probably zoom out more. I'd tried getting an awesome picture of my cockpit urbie dancing after a kill, only to realize I'd zoomed in so far you couldn't see it.

It' surprisingly hard to get good action shots and still survive the action. Either I'd take the shot after the laser exchange, or, as in that one beautiful screencap, I'm getting hit to take the picture. Also, looking at it now, not sure I like the look of Sulfurous Rift. Maybe later this weekend I'll drop on something prettier like Alpine and put that up.

So yeah, so far that's my submission. No glorious victories in CW so far this week, just glorious defeats and the Urbanmech doing what it was meant to do. Making the enemy pay dearly for their victory, at a fraction of the cost.

And yes, that is my standard CW drop deck. Two urbies, Trial Victor, and Trial Wubshee. I don't think you can make them out, but those are the Tukayyid event flags in two of those Urbies.

As promised, I resized my screen an got the mechlab pics up.
Spoiler

Also got a few prettier match screenies.

Spoiler

And, just to show s it's just as good in normal matches, I give you the Trial Victor.

I don't Video
I was on full screen but
DRAGON SLAYER 1 1W/0L 1.00 3K/0D 3.00 Damage:605 XP:3,376
AC10
LrgPls
2MPls
SRM6

First kill was a Highlander I did break off a time or two, cause that's a big boy. But I kept after him and brought him down!

First game ever that I made over 300K C-bills (yes with premium time and Hero bonus).

I only bought it cause everyone says bad things about Victors these days!

All the Orion loadouts are one of the following:

I'll be posting as many 500+ games as I can remember to screenshot. If I get any good ones with the K2 I might post those too.

I don't have that hard of a time doing consistently well in the Orion, and I love it. In the back of my mind I like to think that everyone is going "an Orion? Really?" Everyone on the enemy team smirks when they see it. Little do they know I have come to destroy them. All my Orions are brawl builds. They have "weak" Alphas mainly limited by my weapon cooldown, so I can deliver 3 or 4 without any cover. The dilema is the Boom Stick getting broken off. It requires some finesse. It's a brawler, but not very tanky due to the vulnerable ST. I help, then make my foray when the target is orange CT, usually this takes the heat off my teammate and I become the target, but it doesn't matter since in 2 or 3 alphas, target will be dead.
