I wish they had not moved the O-GENs to be so close to each other and to Omega.

It is now going to be whoever controls the area around Omega, controls the game.

CW is going to be King of the Hill.

What do you guys think?

I was just running through a few in training grounds and was thinking the same thing myself.

It would seem now that invasion (attackers) will have a greater advantage over defenders who give ground, and hold territory (counter-attack defenders) will also have somewhat of an advantage as they can opt to not defend omega and turtle up in the DZ on most maps.

This will at least hopefully shake up the norm for a bit, looking forward to seeing how CW now plays.

This.

Boreal Vault Counter Attack is absolute pain as soon as defenders gain the kill advantage.

If the defenders are smart u can't win a counter attack now. They just have to stay in their dropzone.

Tried it and works.

And on attack organized teams just ball up around Omega between all the turrets now.

I feel like I could write a book on all the broken stuff we have because this community keeps pulling a 1692.

I was afraid it will end up like this in counterattack.

There should not be any gen in counterattack. Just a field to capture, with a longer cap time and slowly recapping itself in defender's favour if not capped otherwise. Not that it wasn't said in this forum few hundred times already. Somebody should tweet Russ or sth, since the whiners chased him out of the forum for good.

Will it have action, drama, suspense and romance?

Here's an idea ... randomize the Generator locations and drop zones, so that there's some variety of gameplay.

Otherwise, people 'work out' the best way to attach on every map, and each match quickly becomes repetitive.

If the CW maps still have bottlenecks they are still completly broken as far i'm concerned. I won't touch CW till the bottlenecks are gone for good.

More than your body has room for. And no one has plot armor.

Who cried?

The only thing I cried about in CW was the abundance of Hellbringers. Now it's much better since people have been bringing Cauldron Borns.

CW today is much better than CW 2 days ago, with the exception of the location of the OGENs. They should either put them back, or make them random. Scout lance can go find them.

LOL... +1

What do you think? How long before they redo CW, or shut it down completely?

Wide open maps have their own problems. If you think the intermediate-long rng attrition sniping is bad now you just wait.

Not our fault the PGI staff's idea of "minor adjustment" involves the use of heavy mining equipment, and low yield nuclear warheads. Adding the shell would have been enough, as would have relocating the gens so that they have more turret cover, but in true PGI fashion they did both, and it's total overkill.

That would depend on how it's set up. If it's like Terra Therma the sniping becomes a non-issue. True, technically there bottlenecks, but the thing is there are so many of them that you can detour around any that are blocked. Then you just cut back in from a side path, and hit them directly in brawling range.

Well, it is your fault. You collectively already know what PGI does.

So it's having the options of say nothing and leave something broken, or speak up and let PGI break it in the other direction. Maybe the real ifx needed is for PGI to hire some people who understand the words balance, and moderation to temper the crew we have now, and give them the power to override stupid when they see it.

In theory this should be Russ' job, but seeing as he let the Dragon have a 70% rate of fire increase on AC5s clearly he's not doing it.

Appears an organized 12-man can attack and win, but it is a real slog. With a Pug group... forget it.

Perhaps they have overcompensated and put everything too close together.
