I sincerely hope he isn't saying that the current K2 PPC nubs look anything even remotely resembling the gargantuan majestic PPCs we had?

If he thinks these are "pretty close", I know where you can send that optometrist, Bishop...

Looks like the missile vcrs are indeed to be addressed, too. Probably be early fall, barring other priorities popping up ( just a guess based on the projected dynamic weapon passes), but I am pretty jazzed.

Russ, for all his merits, doesn't seem to have an eye for these things. He openly admits to being "surprised by what matters to the fans", and I think the Catapult, Centurion and Jagermech fiascos are all situations where Russ has approved changes that looked fine to him, only to be really surprised when the community instantly burst into flames.

So I'm not worried anymore, I've learned to accept it. The good news is, he's open to listening to the fans in regards to these things. Even if it's mostly via Twitter.

EDIT: The "depressive gloom" filter on Forest Colony is another weird decision that I imagine Russ made, only to be really surprised when a large portion of the community hated it. And if it was his decision (which seems very likely), it gives credence to the idea that he's not always... aesthetically tuned in. But apparently, Forest Colony may lose its "depressive gloom" filter too, which is good.

This is excellent news indeed. I'd actively been avoiding buying the Catapult bundle even though the Cat is one of my favorite heavies, due to the generally negative reaction of the community over the changes that were made to it.

I wasn't around at the time the changes were made but I see plenty of people talking about it even to this day.

Once these changes hit, I'll very likely pick them up.

I started a Twitter account just in time to chime in on this. I never got to see the old PPC barrels on the K2, but I would love to.

Also seems they'll be visiting the Catapult missile pods to not be outside the pod, huzzah!
