But, or of the blue I got this tweet from Russ today:

No promises, no time table. But a little nugget of hope, a tray of sunshine, as it were.
So what are your thoughts? Post here, tweet Russ and let him know, if you want the glorious looking PPCs of yesteryear to once again grace the K2.
And of you don't? I can recommend a good optometrist, because you really need your eyes checked, Lol.

I saw this on my feed and almost sprayed coffee all over my keyboard. Big hopes confirmed lol.

I sincerely hope he isn't saying that the current K2 PPC nubs look anything even remotely resembling the gargantuan majestic PPCs we had?
If he thinks these are "pretty close", I know where you can send that optometrist, Bishop...

I think I still run the most 'odd' K2 around.
1 Ac20
1 ErPPc
3 ML
I like its versatility.
Having some different visuals on her might be kinda neat.

Russ, for all his merits, doesn't seem to have an eye for these things. He openly admits to being "surprised by what matters to the fans", and I think the Catapult, Centurion and Jagermech fiascos are all situations where Russ has approved changes that looked fine to him, only to be really surprised when the community instantly burst into flames.
So I'm not worried anymore, I've learned to accept it. The good news is, he's open to listening to the fans in regards to these things. Even if it's mostly via Twitter.
EDIT: The "depressive gloom" filter on Forest Colony is another weird decision that I imagine Russ made, only to be really surprised when a large portion of the community hated it. And if it was his decision (which seems very likely), it gives credence to the idea that he's not always... aesthetically tuned in. But apparently, Forest Colony may lose its "depressive gloom" filter too, which is good.

I wasn't around at the time the changes were made but I see plenty of people talking about it even to this day.
Once these changes hit, I'll very likely pick them up.
