Fed Up With The Ghost Drops

SUNDAY, JULY 5TH, 3052 -- MechWarrior healybob started a discussion over the HPG on Monday regarding Ghost Drops, and the irritation of eating 15-30 minutes for a 0 point match during a CW event. The discussion then brought up the game's dwindling population being the likely culprit for the unproductive CW drops. An issue with the potential solution coming in the discussed AI system.

I think that the player base will return as MWO continues to improve. Calling the last huge CW event "the Battle of Tukayyid " was a misstep, as it gave an air of finality to a game still largely in it's incomplete and unbalanced phase. To their credit, PGI placed the Battle correctly in their timeline, the auspices event still drove away much of the CW players.

Regardless PGI has made the best MechWarrior game in at least a decade, and it keeps getting better and better. People love their still. Don't count this beautiful game out just yet!
