Is it serious no one else wants to see a 75 tonner at 95KPM with 3 LL and 5 ML (stock)?
Come on, the mech is god damn cool!

What we need is Vulcan @ 40tons (we currently have only a single 40 tone mech - Cicada and it plays more like a Light than a Medium)

No. What we need is a build-up of the 40 ton line, not just the Vulcan.
You know.... Clint, Hermes II, Vulcan, Assassin, Whitworth, Sentinel.
Viper (IS designation Dragonfly) and Mongrel (IS designation Grendel), and maybe the Phantom for the clanners.

Begone, heathen! Clearly you have no faith in Alex. He can do even better job than this beauty.

I will skip the BK entirely if there is a chance of Flashman arriving. The high mounted hardpoints are too hard to resist.
As for the 40 ton Medium, I want the Assassin for missiles. Cicada covered the dakka part already.

If you think we need a missile based 40 tonners (besides X-5), i'd much rather get the Whitworth,

We don't talk about the "Tin Woodsman" here.
Whitworth is possibly the most forgotten current tech mech.

Now now guys, why don't we have BOTH.
They both play differently anyway.

There are some pros and cons ...
Pros:
1) High arm-mounted hardpoints
2) Flashman is a respected 'Mech in BattleTech. I like FLS-7K in the Succession Wars era, FLS-8K in the Clan Invasion era and FLS-9M in the modern era.
Cons:
There are (or soon are going to be) three very similar energy-based 'Mechs:
- 65 tons - Thunderbolt with its four most used energy variants (TDR-5SS/9S/9SE/Tallman)
- 70 tons - Grasshopper - again, all variants are energy-based (nobody cares about that small missile hardpoint anyway)
- 75 tons - Black Knight - upcoming 'Mech; all its variants will be energy based too
And of course, the quirks would be the most important thing.

That's why we need the Falconer, Penetrator (mostly energy but 1 missile), Bandersnatch over the Flash. The BK is even going to have a 375 max engine rating. So the FM is just repetitive.
