Dearest Precentor,

I write to you in haste, as I have uncovered a reality most disturbing upon the planet REDACTED. It is a matter of perhaps incalculable luck that I came across this matter due to the consistant warring in and around the area locally referred to as “River City.” It comes only at great risk to myself that I bring you this unfortunate news, and I trust that you will see to the proper steps to rectify it.

What you see here is clear evidence of cross-planetary species transportation. The species, referred to commonly as “Vivian” is what seems to be analogous to a gigantic Centipede which can grow to be many times larger than a 'Mech, and is only known to be found on REDACTED, a swampy planet with a high level of native flora.

It is rumored that the shells of these creatures are capable of withstanding many of the strongest weapons we employ in our own BattleMechs, and the repercussions of their transportation could be enormous.

There can be no mistake, someone prior to the outbreak of hostilities on REDACTED transported this species in unknown numbers for possibly nefarious means, as they were found stored in what seems to be a temporary capacity within an industrial zone of the city. I am as yet unaware of involvement or awareness of the local Duchess, Fran Gustov.

I request your advice and await your reply in course of action for this matter.

/Yes, it's the worm from Viridian. It circles endlessly inside of the garbage bin which also appears to have miniaturized versions of the lilly pads.

Now that's the work of a bored map artist if I ever saw one :)

She's probably rolling her eyes that it took us this long to find it, and giggling like a school-girl at the ones we haven't found yet :)

You have to wonder if someone at PGI is a Frank Herbert fan.

And lo, she was more fair than all the lilies,
Among the lilies, in the lily garden. (c)

worms and lilies? bog in a trash bin? somebody should write a post-modernist battletech novel where a pilot realizes that the planet where he fought is actually in a garbage bin in the town where his unit was recently moved...

you assume it was transported on purpose. Have you ever tried the food on those drop ships? do you want to take a guess as to what kind of parasites you can run into?

they dont call them the alpha strike ejects for nothing.
