He said mammal! Why you gotta go and make him feel all inferior by calling him a seal! Maybe he is an Orca. I beautiful majestic black and white creature of the sea.

FFS. Have some consideration for the Orca's feelings. Now apologise!

I'm not an Orca. But one of my favorite mechs is:

I have modules bought for 614M c-bills. Sold some a while ago, but obviously kept most of them. 20 radar derps, 16 seismics, 92 weapon modules.

Pfft. Orcas are overrated. Never could stand that Willy anyway, with his funky dorsal fin. Get it straightened out, you big doofus!

Oh, and by the way, seals (which includes walruses) are mammals too.

Edit: I'm joking. Orcas are totally badass.

Back on topic (shame, I know). I totaled it up: 462MM. Back out freebies and the sale and I've actually spent a little over 400MM. Not quite as much as I expected.

consider this specific example: my first serious CW drop deck had on it, 3 firestarter-Ss, and a king crab. each firerstarter fully set up is 10.4m, the king crab is 20.5m. that's a total of around 50m.
now, the modules: 4 seismic sensor (24m), 4 radar derp (24m), 3 target info gather (12m), 4 sets of range extension (12m, 4 sets of cooldown reduction (12m).

so the cost of the mechs was around 50, with the modules for them being 84.

Well then there you have it. I see a rather simple solution. Modules should all be cut 50%. Done, okay now PGI I'm sure you can implement this in the next patch with very little resources spent.

Thank you in advance! You rock! Keep up the good work and so will we.

I know I have spent over 300 million just on radar deprivation since I have about 50 of them. Considering all my 'mechs came from packs and I have earned over a billion c-bills during my time in the game and I currently have a balance of about 50 million I would wager I have spent at least 800 million c-bills on modules.

Let's add in "How much of my free time have I spent swapping modules."

Too ******* much. If there were an award for adding anti-fun to a video game, modules at their current price would win it.

If modules cost 100k each, x4 per mech, x100 mechs a lot of us have, I'd still have spent 40 million c-bills, BUT I'D BE HAPPY ABOUT IT. For love of all that is mechwarrior change the pricing.

Don't let your wifes read this thread.

They will take your creditcard and use this excuse to buy cloth modules.

But... you can mix and match them to different outfits, just like mechs!

If she had even a vague idea of 1/2 of the money I have spent on MWO I would be living in my backyard.

When I buy a game for a measly $60 she complains because she just sees it as a grown man wasting money on kid's stuff no matter how trivial $60 is in this day and age.

Yes this exactly! People have been BEGGING for a remove all modules button because most of us cannot/will not afford the hundreds of millions of c-bills needed to buy enough of them for each mech we own. I myself own only 1 of any module and have wasted so much time searching for these to swap around.

They keep wanting CW to succeed but if you actually want to be a serious player you will want 4 radar derps and 4 seismic sensors (pretty much standard modules for all) and that alone is a 48M fee! You kidding me?!? Then you got weapon modules on top of that..... yeah...

I want to buy mechs not modules... this isn't module warrior online.

I try not to buy more than 1 but sometimes im careless and think i have one when it's just unlocked. Eventualy they will get revamped again, and like last time, nothing will be refunded or reseted and all will be lost again. And since i had to switch module since the revamp i dont buy XL anymore either because if im going to have to switch one ill switch the XL too. Thanks for the saving pgi, i hate it but you pushed me into it.

I don't know, I know that its a total pain in the rear to find them, once you switch mechs, and forget to immediately swap them over

Wow...not as much as some of you.

I have one of each of the useful mech modules (ie: everything but hill climb, arty/air accuracy and adv gyros) and most of the IS weapon modules for the main weapons with a smattering of Clan weapon modules.

Maybe around 100 million c-bills?
