Eh, for me XLs and STDs are chassis dependant. I think using a CN9, ZEU, SHD or any Light with an STD is just a waste of potential, since they shield so well. Then other mechs, like the HBK, STK, AS7, etc, never get XLs.

I don't have the Zeus, so I haven't built any and played with them in game. I'm not really qualified to post in this thread, but I felt like adding something anyways.

A friend of mine in BP does really well in a Zeus 5S using nothing but an AC/10 and 3 medium pulse. That seems like a weak loadout to me, but he was consistently pumping out solid scores in that mech. I don't know the engine or other details, but I was impressed.

If I built myself one, I would probably go with something like this,..

I should have read what Bishop said about the Zeus being XL friendly before I posted that, I was even wondering about that when I was in Smurfy. In that case I would probably take something more like this,...
