At first they all had their own target.
Then one pug fell down at a time.
And lastly the remaining tried to make it work to no avail.

The last one was a Assault screaming for teamwork. Had no support.

Congratulations, i just descibed the solo que.

If I had to sum up MWO in a nutshell, I'd call it...Solaris without Duncan Fisher.

Basically two teams fighting in a random out door arena practicing during the week to compete for prizes on the weekend.

If you want to post stupid off-topic nonsense then go to Reddit instead.

Well, if you want the actual "on-topicness," we have discussed at length the impact of attrition in a group vs group game with no respawns. This is actually illustrative of how an initially even (or close to it) fight can end up in a stomp. These 12-4, 12-2 games are usually a bit closer than one would think. The problem with more people per team is that there is a more extreme cascade effect when one side becomes outnumbered.

This is like a family of 1/(x^p) functions that represent a force's population, with p being the numerical advantage of one force over the other. The other force will more quickly approach 0 as p increases. As that force more quickly approaches zero, the numerical advantage (p) of the superior force increases, only accelerating the process.

So there ya go, buddy. If you want to just make snarky comments for the sake of making snarky comments (not giving any reasoning for your salt), then go to Reddit instead.

Not entirely accurate. There were no AFKs standing in the ring. Nor were there any suicides. :/

Hardly. Maybe in the PUG queue. But those aren't teams. They are a group of individuals flailing their way to 'victory'.

A true team would work together to isolate and eliminate each opponent in turn.

I don't know that one guy laying on the ground was just taking a beating and not even trying to escape.

But but but, his gracie jujitsu training says the inverted mount position is the right way to win!!

(When it's actually the right way to have 5 or 6 suddenly friendly to the person they never knew people kick the living **** out of the fool)

One of the more accurate representations of the "thinking man's shooter" public queue.

Not perfect, as others have pointed out... but pretty accurate.
