Laser Reflective Armor

Yes and other new types of armor (and ammo) too. I imagine that it was suggested before, but reminder won't hurt. Yes it's a post Jihad era tech, but I think it's the best solution to current balance state. Don't need to rebalance everything and gives choice to players. What do you think?

Tweet that to devs if you support the idea (I don't use it and we all know they don't read forums no matter what they say :ph34r: :rolleyes: ).

Wait... I don't get it, I see nothing about revamping the heat system in the OP but the title says it should be about that... /confused /sarcasm

I'd love for at least two armor types to be added. Reflective and Reactive. Don't follow exact lore on them. Reflective reduces damage of all energy weapons and increases damage from all projectile (and missile) weapons. Reactive armor is exactly the opposite.

Would like to see it, but I don't think it's going to actually add much to the game atm.

It would have to be really obvious that someone was using Reflective or Reactive armor, to be fair. Like, Reflective Armor is SUPER SHINY and Reactive Armor is lumpy and explodes in huge bursts of flame when anything hits it.

Shame basically none of the weaknesses of reflective armor are in this game it is however within the time span of operation serpent which is the next likely time skip.

but PGI is already doing a Global Rebalance of Every(Mech / Weapon / Piece of Equipment),
Russ has Said on Twitter that the IS Side was Finished and they were doing Clans,
so its coming, Hopefully very Soon™,

We already have Reactive Armour, but we call it Bad Hit registration. That's why everyone uses lasers. :)
