Keep in mind I didn't discover this, I quoted Antonius Rex from another thread, so the credit goes to him for showing us all this.

It's not as if i didn't expect any challenge in CW to be "gamed" either, but it still ticks me off and reminds me that it's more likely than not being done in the Public queue as well, just not as effectively and as blatant.

I'm curious to see PGI's response to this level of cheating for rewards. I for one think they should all be outed, and if not have their accounts banned, they should have all their mechs removed. I think that this is one the same level as using cheats/hacks.

Sounds harsh, but when you think of all the people trying to do this challenge honestly, those that are cheating deserve no mercy. For all of us that have or are spending our money on this game, there should be ZERO TOLERANCE, especially for such blatant manipulation of the challenge.

I'm pretty sure that PGI can identify them as well. They should be able to look up the final match scores for the games played over the past few days and identify a 12-0 stomp with zero damage on the losing side.

It would be nice to get a comment from PGI about how serious they take this type of stuff to be as well. Not some bland "We will be verifying" thing...a clear position of how they view this type of action.

The last Tournament i played i witnessed in the PUG-Q Players that legged Mechs and called a Teammate to kill them off after that - it was 5 Players working in PUG-Q together, imagine how much luck or how much assistance you need to get 4 helpers in your PUG match...

I simply play as i allways do and take notice out of curiosity where that gets me...(the only exception so far was the Founders Event were i had 4 goals to achive i reached pretty much last second but that was work and not fun).

People allways game the System - allway, ever, ad infinitum!

You know, it's amazing what people will do to win a $50 gift card (which is hugely overpriced to begin with) and to get their name on some internet leaderboard. They'll get 20 of their friends to spend a whole afternoon sync-dropping, if that's what it takes. Never mind that it effectively means they all earned 50 cents per hour in the process.

Imagine if PGI had tournaments where you could actually win something worth $100 or more, or like an nVidia-sponsored graphics card. I'm sure people would leave their families and quit their jobs, grinding hundreds of hours to win it.

you know, there are plenty of folk in this world where being good on an internet game is pretty important. It is just the way it is, the question is what will PGI do or will they just accept that some folk will game their challenges.

Players like that DESERVE to be named and shamed.

Because they're not only cheating PGI, they're cheating the players that are trying to do this legit.

You can see who one of them is right there on the Tournament page for CW.

He, his entire unit that was present, as well as the opposing team should all be perm banned if you ask me for participating in cheating.

Over the years here most of us have learned there are no elite players unless elite means better at cheating and exploiting.

Then you come to the forums to be chastised and put down by the same scumbags. 66ah taught us that.

To this day I have some of those clowns using the conspiracy theorist label on me though the ones I fought for were proven to be true and more are revealed every day.

PGI has proven all they care about is the money train. They could care less about a good and successful game. The recent reduction in prices show they have reached the top of the curve. It's all downhill from here. Rather than fix these issues and ban the cheaters and exploiters they will just milk them till there is nothing left. Game has died because of that. We just need to wait for the funeral.
