It occurred to me, aside from having techs and other personnel moving around our Battlemechs in the Mech Lab, that we could see them in different settings.

This image had me asking, why couldn't I choose where my mechs are?

So we'd simply need Themes based on existing Map Assets for these various backgrounds.

We could have:
River City
Terra Therma
The Mining Collective
Tourmaline Desert
Viridian Bog
Alpine Peaks / Boreal Vault
Emerald Taiga
Grim Portico
Hellebore Springs / Canyon Network
Sulfurous Rift
Vitric Forge
Caustic Valley
Crimson Strait
Forest Colony
Frozen City

And any more Themes to come!

As a side-note, this is another element that could have a few C-Bill options with most being MC only to help generate revenue for the devs, like the ideas of animating the MechLab, custom mech geometry options and so on. So in other words, just do it.

This idea also came up in my custom mech hanger thread. Tina told me a couple weeks ago that she'd pass on custom HUD & mech hangers alongside geometry.

When the next town hall comes along, we should try and get Russ to answer some questions about customization.
