Hi,

I am starting to think about purchasing another mech and just after some advice on which one. I have narrowed it down to the Ebon Jaguar and the Hellbringer. Which should it be? I think both mechs are pretty good not sure which one.

I really like a mix of balistic and laser. Been looking at the EJ with the UAC20 mounted very high which is nice. But always been a big fan of the loki. Lord Auriel, thankyou for that link. An amazing reference for me to look at. Cheers.

+HBR has ECM and ballistic. Strong mech.
+EBJ: More weapon loadout. Better protection of his Torsos. (Dual Gauss on EBJ possibel) Stronger mech.

I have both, i started with the EBJ and then later got the HBR. The Ebon is IMO more powerful, also the mounts are very good for a lot of different loadouts. in comparison the Hellbringers low Arms are not so pleasant, also you have less Tonnage for Weapons and Heatsinks. But you have ECM with the Hellbringer, can be useful if you have an adequate Playstyle.

For the EBJ i can recommend the following Loadouts:
-Streak Jaguar: 4x C-SSRM6 + 1C-ER-LL more the Grinder for match score
-Brawler: 7C-SPL+LBX20 or UAC20 (or a Gauss for Long range)
-Long range Laser for CW: 2LPL+4ERML + Range Module

For the Hellbringer i am still testing, tried 6SMPL+Heatsinks, currently running 4MPL+UAC5.

So all in all I recommend the EBJ.
