I love how the Cicada leans when you turn, makes me feel even faster while maneuvering.

Another one is the heavy tread fall of the Atlas, not only does it look mean but it sounds mean too.

Anyone else got small "quirks" about their mechs that they enjoy?

I love the way a Timberwolf looks so mean when its walking... it feels.. "confident", like a true WOLF looking for PREY.

That's how I'm feeling when I pilot one.. especially during CW matches that count for something, like during events like Tukayyid.

I find this is also true for the Mad Dog, but not as much as the Timber.

I love the Hunchback's swag-walk. That mech walks like he is the pimp in a bar full of hookers.

The sassy swaying walk of Grasshopper.
Those little fins/airfoil on Spider that pops up when they engage jump jets.

Also how each chassis have a different engine hum and ambiance noise.

I can only imagine how my WHK must have looked yesterday for the enemy pilots when I was the last remaining Mech of my team and CT-killed 3 of them inside 10 seconds before dying.
(Not much credit to me, they were all cored by my team before. Still it must have looked pretty awesome :D)

How the torso joint cracks when turning/torso twisting in a Centurion. Really gives you the feel you are pioting a ancient machine, which hasn't seen a technican for a long time.

The sound of the Hellbringer torso twist. Sounds like a Predator.

Hellbringer's got that swagger as well.
Which makes me think Warhammer will have it as well.

I like it too, but I think my favorite is still how the Commando sounds, been thinking of buying them just because of this.

I have to agree, I do think they did a good job of making each mech have its own unique ambiance. They could have taken the easy way out and made each cockpit look and sound pretty much the same and only change the windows, but they didn't.

man you think that stuff is nice...should have seen it back in CB. The Awesome had the most amazing lumber, truly felt like an 80 ton death machine, not the light in it's slipper ballerina (slow ballerina,) it is today. I do like the that several of the mechs still have some distinctive immersion traits (and hate others.... in headphones the trebuchet sounds like a whining mosquito every time you turn the torso) just wish we had more of it still.

Thunderbolts feel like a mech that weigh 65tons even at 80+kph.
Versus the Urbanmech whose run causes me to repeat "haters gonna hate" in my head while driving it.

Every sound around the AC/10 is awesome. The actual sound of firing, the reloading, and the slap of the round against armor are top dollar.

The purely mechanical grinding sounding of the Direwolf rotating its upper torso. It sounds like two large vertical gears sitting on top of one large face up horizontal gear grinding and meshing between each other as the two smaller gears go across the larger one with a mountain of metal on top of them.

The first thing that came to mind when I heard it is a super crane rotating while moving a large pile of steel beams.

Along with the wide range of Whines and Whirrs that all the light mechs make when rotating and moving their torsos and arms. Compared to the larger mechs, theirs are (imo) more unique to each others.

And just as EmperorMyrf said, that sound of the AC/10 in all aspects.

There is also all the duck tape around the Urbanmech's cockpit.
