So, in lore, that's the way it goes:

The faction contract includes Rearm & Repair (r&r), so the mech is "insured" and whatever damages/ammo spent is reimbursed by the faction's contract.

So it really makes sense that the faction is willing to split the cheaper bill of house favorites mech (draconis jenner/panther/dragon, lyran awesome/commando/atlas, liao vindicator/raven/cataphract, wolf timber/dire, jaguar ebon, etc). This translates as a 30% c-bill bonus for the favourite house mech.

Possibly only for CW matches, but the normal queue would be good too.

TL;DR: faction favorites gives 30% c-bill bonus.

Any mech of these lists would give a 30% c-bill bonus when used while in contract with the respective faction.

and we should totally have a ComGuards ComStar faction, and a list of star league mechs for the ComGuards preferred mechs (like crab, king crab, battlemaster, marauder - oh yeah! -, warhammer, etc)

Of course, these sales should be permanent, and you get a nice discount when buying a preferred mech while contracted to a faction.

For example, for steiner contracts, an Atlas AS7-D is 9676072 - 35% = 6289446 C-Bills, or 3875 - 35% = 2518 MC.
