Or a slightly more basic overview in this thread.
The quirk, "Additional Structure (Full Body)" seems slightly bugged. It puts the Structure outside your normal armour, and the bonus Armour on top of that.

As such, with a 0 rear armour Atlas, you can tank 64 damage (37+27) to each of your rear Torsi. See linked thread.

There's also a strange thing that happens when you break through that bonus Structure; you get a Component Destruction.

Which is strange. Mechs with this quirk thus have 11 Components, up from 8 due to the Ghost Torso on the rear.
2 remaining components:

9 Components Destroyed:

Good news though, Ghost Torsi do not count against XL death. You can lose the Ghost Torsi and be unaffected (but still die to regular ST loss). Strange news, the Ghost Structure can be Crit. While on paper the Ghost Torso should have 64 IS+A, I killed it in just 3 AC20s rounds (and not the bonus ML). Easily explained by rolling 2 Crits, thus generating 6 bonus damage.
That also confirms that it isn't 64 bonus Armour (as you can't Crit armour), but is indeed mixed IS+A.
I rather enjoy this bug, as it makes the rears MUCH more durable (adding the structure bonus that would otherwise be shared with the normal component), but it probably isn't intended.
Head also gains fully from this, the Atlas K having ~97 hitpoints there. I killed it with 95 damage from MLs, but there are plenty of Crit opportunities to be obtained.
This isn't Atlas specific, as every mech with "Full Body" IS+A quirk likely has it. Tested and confirmed on the Centurion, and likely every mech with the quirk.
Feature or Bug?
