I like the mouth being all toothy. Like the venom and carnage symbiotes. Bummer they won't just sell us the hero only for $10. With sales and credit use tax there is only $5 difference between the two packages.

I think Gray Noton's Rifleman was actually a stock RFL-3N, much like how Natasha Kerensky had a stock Warhammer WHM-6R. It's just PGI making these hero variants unique for purchase.

With that being said, Gray Noton was just that good at piloting a stock Rifleman, as I pointed out in the announcement thread.

from Sarna
It is rumored that he secretly piloted a Rifleman II RFL-3N-2 he found in the Periphery. He allegedly used this 'Mech to become the Class 5 Solaris Champion before retiring.[6] However, there have been no in-universe indications of him actually piloting such a 'Mech (beyond the existence of the rumor), and in his appearance in the novel En Garde the text implies a regular Rifleman. The rumors being spread of him piloting a super Rifleman is assumed to be a canon rumor.[citation needed]

So yeah, just like I been saying.

And here I was hoping for a Davis McCall based Rifleman.
Basically the Gray Death pattern, but with more plaid and Scottish swear words.

Sorry about starting the other Rifleman thread. Been gone almost a year, was excited about the Rifleman and forgot to search.

Anyway, I'll just leave this here:

Mech design looks good, but...

Reading the book now - Legend Killer is described multiple times as having a ghost in crosshairs as the paint job.

Looks like a program from Tron had a baby with a Slaanesh-worshipping Chaos Space Marine.

I luv it.

its so come and get me if u can,

And yet, the 4x dakka loadout seems more appropriate for Khorne...

A Slaanesh loadout would clearly be pulse lasers. ^_^

And flamers.

Especially since they tickle more than they actually do damage. <_<

well, at least they changed the loadout stock, and moved two beamers to the arms. I might have fun with 2 LPL, 2 MPL and 4x MGs for the dakka of it!

It's not a big deal, but I do wish the paint was closer to canon. I never, ever pictured Norton driving a pink and blue 'mech.

I actually like the paintjob. It reminds me of a Warhammer 40K Genestealer.

As long as the pattern itself is well done we can all change the actual colours anyway, and it'll still look good. I might do mine in brighter pink and purple.
