People what's you Hopper 5H builds? Any ideas for good PPFLD and High DPS?

Probably something boating lasers

For that one I run 4ML and 2LPL. Mount the MLs first which should prop the LPL's into the high mounts

It is an all energy mech, the best of the PPFLD take a PPC with a ballistic which this thing cannot.

Put 2 PPCs in the shoulder because 3+ is ghost heat and that is about all you can muster for PPFLD and PPC have low DPS according to Smurfy.

2xPPC sniper
200 meter brawler
400 meter brawler

Take these builds with a grain of salt...I'm not taking into account the quirks at all, don't even know what quirks it has. I'm not the best at building meta and don't really care to be since I'm just a Tier 3 scrub.

Was hoping to give you something manageable that you can use as the framework for a better build. Hopefully someone much more knowledgeable than myself will give you a couple builds.

The grasshopper has good hitboxes for XL, and the 5H is one of the variants with 2 high mounts. That means it works well for a pokey high alpha build: (Make sure you put in the big guns last in the side torsos, that way they get in the high mounts.)

3LPL+4MLas with XL325, 2JJ and 18DHS
With this build, poke with minimal exposure with your 2 top mounted LPLs when trading and take full alpha poke shots against distracted enemies. When pushing or receiving a push use the 3 LPLs for good sustained damage and range.

It also works well as a poptart/brawler hybrid:
2PPC+5MPL with XL325, 4JJ and 17DHS
This build switches between PPC jumpsniping and MPL brawling, you usually don't want to alpha this mech, instead use each weapon type separately depending on range and cover.

I'm going to echo the people recommending 3xLPL 4xML. I think it is the best build for the GHR-5H.

I think I run 3LL with 4 ML. Either with STD300, Endo and 18 DHS or with XL325, 20-21DHS and standard structure. Oh and 2 JJs on both variants.

You could even go to ER-LL or as said above LPL. Or even full MPL but the 5N is better for that.
