Nice.

um... phil... are you sure ac2s are now better at critting stuff. The way PGI describes it, it should be worse now.

It gains a 10% Crit Chance, and that's it.

They changed the wording, they pointlessly added the 'critDamMult' var. Unless it was a requirement for the Crit chance increase, and they just want to reuse the same function.

Damn, it has a slim CT from the front. Forget XL engines in that thing. Also, pretty sad that the additional ballistic mounts are so low.

The 3R with 2ppcs and 3 ac2s looks soooo... anti meta... I have to try it.

The middle ballistic slot seems ok, but the bottom one is a bit low for my taste. Still, at least the bottom slot is about level with the cockpit so it won't seem too low under most circumstances.

nice video...but so sad to see such a noble veteran of Battletech. reduced to unrecognizable Meta Builds, though.

Was always the one reason I didn't really want the classic Unseens to make it in.... Hurts my eyes to see sword and board and laser vomit MADs.

Really going to cringe when I see the armless abominations people make out of my beloved Warhammer.

For all the crying people did about "if it doesn't look like the Macross mechs it ain't a Marauder", etc.....

The players and the Meta builds will do far more to make the mech unrecognizable.

It is so not going to be XL friendly.

Gotta say...no matter how many times you mentioned how "small" the frontal profile is.......

those two ginormous intakes on the upper side torsos, say otherwise.

People can make XLs semi work on the new Cat hitboxes and on Crabs because they DON'T have huge, high, exposed "shoot me" signs on the ST, from a frontal view, let alone from the side, where I plan to make extra cbills using them as Advertising Billboards.

That's a sad tale.

Indeed. It's almost like a Charles Dickens tale. Only with stompy robots.

So...like a Dr Who version of a Dickens' tale¿?

All the complaints about the Gauss. Suddenly it has a role and a purpose instead of being the Pretty Cool Gun That Kills Robots And Doesn't Afraid of Anything.

Seriously, the Gauss has needed this cooldown change for so long. It still punch hard, even up close, but now suffers a bit in rate of fire to weapons that lose out in essentially every other category (AC20s, anyone?). Its long range game is undiminished, but now it might have actual competition in mid- and short-range battle.

The Marauder looks great, and the CT appears to be super tanky. It reminds me of my STD Engine Crabs, which may well be my new favorite medium.

Just an awesome looking mech. Great preview. The auto cannon placement is very cool.

Good patch to. Took one mech of each weight class out for a spin today and was alot of fun. Someone tell them to add cockpit monitor color options though. :)
