The TDK got slower top end, and less agile. The little bit of structure doesn't help getting tracked by laser vomit. I'm not real happy with this change.

You and every other light pilot out there. What little acceleration and deceleration quirks lights got is irrelevant when the loss of the majority of Anchor Turn, Hard Brake and Kinetic Burst skills are considered. All lights barring snipe-type ones are very severely affected by this patch.

Hopefully you Commando pilots will get the agility quirks.

Thing that pisses me off the most isn't that my mechs are less now and its noticeable, its all the time I spent leveling mechs I never wanted to get all of that goodness in the one I did.
I earned it and they just snatch it, because noobs.

Yup, those OP TDKs, running around willy-nilly and breaking the meta so completely that they had to invent a whole new tier just for that dreadful little thing!
Oh wait a minute.
Yeah, maybe we will start seeing some of the less popular lights, like Firestarters or Arctic Cheetahs.

In the hands of a good pilot it was, and still will be.
The days of the running lights are done. The dawn of a new era, where light mechs are little more than attachments to heavier ones, glued to the arm of a nearby assault, is now. Come, my fellow teeny-ship pilots. Come, and revel in the ridiculousness of the new meta!

I personally still get along with some lights quite well. The commando variants included.
