And this time, the game just freezes, I have to stop the process in the task manager to get it down.
And after that, it freezes at the log on, when Im trying to get back in the game.
I have to restart my computer, it wont work otherwise!
I have run the repair tool, it does not help.


I reinstalled MWO and Im still having the problem, downgraded to 32bit, from windowed mode to fullscreen, DX11->DX9.
The game freezes now even during a match....
OH - and the repairtool just crashes when its trying to clean the shaders. Tried that manually, couldnt delete the whole folder had to delete the files one by one and trying to delete Lookupdata made my windows-explorer crash.
Hopefully u can fix this before the weekend is over...plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Switched back to 64bit, DX11 and LOW GFX settings - seems to be stable atm...3 CW matches without freezing....

Now I had my 1st freeze again :/

Cw works - but after every match I have to restart my PC.....

Madgoose. Ditto. Only solution I have is to reboot every time before I log into MWO else it will not work.

I am having the same problem. I have been in contact with support, and have tried deleting the shader files, running the repair after the deletion of the files, reinstalling the game, using another persons shader files and even doing a clean install on my graphics drivers. None of the suggestions from support have worked so far.

I would love some Dev feedback on this issue. Is there any way to get their attention to this thread? The game is unplayable.

I have been in contact with the support, but with the nature of the issue it feels like it's something the dev team is going to have to patch out. That's why I was hoping someone on their end would respond about it so they know to be looking for the issue.

Though atm it seem to run....at lowest settings

and they want to release it to steam as broken as it is ?


i get alot of crashes from this game and support dont even know how to fix it. frustrating to drop into a match, crash, log in and be dead.

Been doing the ding-dong with Technical support. Updating my video drivers and applying the latest Windows Updates haven't helped either...

Yea, I started getting this issue after I patched my game. Was running baby smooth before the patches but after...
This HAS to get fixed soon on the devs part, 'cause I've already tried everything from latest drivers to getting the Micro$oft updates and NOTHING works!
And this issue not already fixed when it goes live on steam? Yeah....great job

Same issues, latest nvidia drivers. Fresh install of the game.

Yep, same issue. I updated drivers, did fresh steam install. problem remains. Game freezes after one - two games tops.

I'm also still having this problem. I run dual monitors and the game windowed so maybe that's what we're all doing that's glitching it out?

This freezing/locking up after 1-2 matches is getting really annoying. At 1st i thought it was due to a unclean install so i did that but that didn't fix the issue. So after that im at a loss for words as both trying the steam install and the standalone install the game still manages to lock up after a match or two and then wont let me back into the game as the launcher itself freezes until i restart my pc.

My pc specs aren't the issue as i was have 0 issues until the steam launch patch came around and my drivers are updated and hell i even rolled them back a set to see and no dice. I dont know what happened but this game needs to unscrew itself as i dont want to have to reboot my pc starting tomorrow while i grind out the new IIC mechs......
