Hi all,

After 10 days of problems with my old W7 OS and MWO (after 11/17 patch stopped working...), I decided to update my OS to W10.

After the installation the game launched without problems (by default it starts with Dx9) but then I changed my settings to DX11. After closing the client and restarting I pressed "Play" in the launcher a small window popped up saying that the game cant run.

I tried several times with the same result and then I changed the client to a 32bit one and then the game run without problems. So this combinations works, 64bit+Dx9 and 32bit+Dx11, but anything else seems to fail.

Thoughts?

My system specs are:

i7 4710MQ @ 2.50 GHz
16 gb drr3 RAM
128 gb SSD + 750 gb HD
Nvidia Geforce GTX 860M
DirectX 12
Windows 10 Home 64bit

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I also get a shader error with some hanging and mounted copckit items when I run the game in 64bit+Dx9. Weird...

Just making sure both bases are covered -have sent email to get updated info listed on the posts

For the directx 9c, to get a full install, in case of corrupted files, use the redistribution package.

Shame on me...

I suppossed that if Dx12 were installed, Dx11 should be too. I've seen these post before writting this one, but after following your last link I installed Dx11 and now I can run 64bit+Dx11.

Thanks Tarl for shaking my head a bit.
