I am a WOT player and want to buy a founders package but wont spend 120 for it [60 bucks=Xbox game I can justify

My question is will Assault`s make less Credits [What ever currency] than smaller mechs etc?
If this Mech will get a Bonus to grinding I wanna make sure I dont pick one that makes the least amount of Credits/XP etc.
Is there some sort of breakdown as to how making money ingame is calculated based off class etc?
i was leaning towards the Atlas as it was always one of my favorite Mechs but if its gonna be a slow close ranged Mech that costs 3x the Hunchback and it makes less Credits/Currency to begin with it wont be my choice. From everything I have read it will be my Mech to make me money and XP alot faster but I only get 1 option.
In WOT for instance the later Tier 10 tanks dont make crap for money and even take money to operate as a whole where the lower [Middle Wieghts] are usually the money makers. Do we know yet how Credit/Money will be calc`d?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
You like playing a scout go for a light mech. You like to be a medium tank driver go for a medium or light mech. You like heavy tanks that have speed go heavy mech. If you like slow heavy tanks just fine go either heavy mech or assault mech.
Each of the four mechs you can choose from are customizable to fit a variety of roles. The real issue is that the range of roles each can fill varies.
Jenner. Small fast. Can be a pure scout, a harrasser or light skirmisher.
Hunchback. Medium well armored for size. Can be a brawler by default. Could reconfigure to long range direct fire. This mech can easily be fitted out to hold a narrow chokepoint or play a more open field battle.
Catapult. Default is a support mech with indirect fire weapons. Could reconfigure to be a closer in brawler with SRMs, or bigger energy weapons could turn it into a long range specialist.
Atlas. Big slow weapon platform. Heavily armored. Heavy weapon loadout. Only real reconfiguring you can get good traction out of is swapping weapons. You can make this beast have a massive short range alpha strike, or put a bunch of long range stuff on it. Anything in between will also work. However you will never make this a fast nimble machine. This is the E100, maus, t95s of this game. Big fat slow moving targets albeit with amazing firepower.
So think what style you have previously played and go for a mech that fits your ideal role in this game.
