Just the other day, I noticed my stocks of earned Consumable items getting low. So, I wanted to purchase a small stock more with C-BIlls() to have ready on standby for any of several purposes. Unfortunately, I found I could only buy one at a time, and that trying to do this became all too tedious. Posted Image

Since I want to keep this short, I'm simply going to ask my question now. PGI's Devs, could you please add a Multiple Purchase Feature to the Consumable Purchase Interface within the in-game Store area? You could probably do it in the form of a numerical control on each and every Consumable Item, similar to how everyone can adjust their armor values over in the MechLab area. In my opinion, this is literally a 'Quick Win, Quick Fix' type of situation. Posted Image

Just a quick response. There is an option once a consumable is loaded for it to autofill after each match if you use it. It is a small box next to the consumable that you can "check off" for autofill on the modules page. Hope this helps.

I know about that check box, and already use it, but thanks for reminding me. Unfortunately, once you've used a Consumable, if you've run out of spare stock, it starts draining your C-Bills directly. This is the part I was trying to counter at the time, by pre-allocating some funds and getting some C-Bill Consumables ahead of time, when I found out that trying to pre-purchase would be such a tedious process. So, any chance I could ask for your support on pre-purchasing Consumables (even if only C-Bill ones) here as well? :)

I vote yes, but in terms of prioritization for the coders I would hope it is pretty low on the list.

I hear what you're saying. I could also add to that, and remark that I would only want the feature to be released when it's Bug-Free, which I understand would take quite a while to do. We don't need it acting goofy, right? :)

Or you know use the check box, you dont even really notice the cost as even a loss covers it and not worry about a trivial feature when there is a pile of other things to be done

I read the whole thread. IF you spend the money now and earn at the standard rate or spend it progressively and subsequently earn at a slighly lower rate in the end makes zero difference how fast you get to your end point. Its a trivial feature which is not really going to get much use by 90% of players. I'd rather see the limited dev resources go elsewhere.

I would see this as a waste of dev resources. If you don't have the money you won't be able to use consumables sooner or later. Making a stockpile of them does not make sense. In average you should be earning more than 80k per match anyway... and pre-purchasing items does not improve your cashflow. Just keep a million c-bills or so extra on hand and all will be good. Takes a little bit extra patience to earn.

...that's why it would only be a "Quality Of Life" improvement, and not something that would be handled with any importance or speed. Haven't you, however, been unsettled at some point by not seeing your entire C-Bill intake appear because you had to use a consumable during a match, and therefore had 40K or more silently taken out of your income? I'm simply suggesting a way to temporarily defray that while Pilots are working on racking up what they'll need toward something else, you and me included. Sure, it pre-locks funds out early in those consumables to pre-purchase them, but it prevents your further -gathering from being harmed for a time. :huh:
