Well it's official, the Ground Hog did not see his shadow, so, we might see an early spring.

Bet the darn thing is more accurate than the weather man's prediction. lol.

Yeah. We watched Groundhog day the movie today. It was 40 some degrees outside in central NY state

Billions of dollars invested in satellites, weather stations, and predictive computer systems...

And we still rely on a big rat to tell us what's going to happen with the seasons.

Does anybody see an issue with this?

Would you rather rely on a Politician (the one holding the big rat) to do that for you?

As a farmer, if the rat could really predict the weather (accurately), I'd vote for em! It'd be more and better service than what any other politician I am aware of has ever provided.
