In the other thread I wrote that I wished PGI could give the Hero Kodiak 2B+3M+2E and they delivered! Ok, not exactly like that but we get 1M for 1B.

This hardpoint distribution is exactly like the HGN-IIC-B's and we can now finally have the Clan Atlas everbody wants.
  • 1x cLB20-X with 3t of ammo
  • 4x cSRM6+A with 4t of ammo
  • 2x cERML
  • XL400 (69.7 kph), MASC (~90-91 kph), 17x DHS (36% Cooling)
  • 82 points of bear hug (damage)
Clan Atlas here I come! (anyone wants to buy me a pack with the Hero? Posted Image )

EDIT: MASC speed according to the info from McGral.

On a related note, the WHK-B (besides HGN-IIC-Beta) can also carry the loadout with the same speed:

WHK-B the Clan Atlas

But don't forget, this Bear has mobility the Atlas could ever dream of!!! "Spirit" Bear is aptly named.

Wait, you can't pack a UAC20 in that thing? Why LBX20? :o

Because to work like the Atlas, i.e. shoot and twist, you need to carry the LB20-X instead of the UAC/20 Posted Image

Yes, but the Kodiak's arms are free moving like Atlas(it has all the actuators). I may have to buy it.

but it has MASC. so when it needs acceleration it has it. MASC is supposedly getting buffed too.

so its like an atlas, but way faster, with actually good weapons, and no lame *** structure quirks.

CUAC20 + 4 SRM6 + 2 CLPL is well over 100 burst damage

It will run hot already, so the LBx is the cooler (half heat) option. It would lack durability to face tank, as seen above.

One correction: New MASC would only be 89.1 Kph...which is faster than any of the current Clam Heavies thanks to that speed tweak nerf.
That's funny.

64.8*1.375, gets you exactly 89.1 Kph.

50% sale MC fodder, in 8 months when that happens.

would be cool if there was a community wallet. I would sense corruption but it's a thought

Drop streaks, add normal Csrm, for spare weight then considering the Free space available maybe can also upgrade to FF armor (remember it's clam so endo+FF should only take 7 hardpoints each or 14 total) for even more tonnage and upgrade those med laser on large pulses.

But it's with speed tweak. My EXE runs at 82.5 kph with MASC on.

So, your current 18% speed boosts brings you to:
64.8*1.(18+7.5%)=81.3
69.7*1.18=82.25

So, neither are exactly right, but accoring to that, it's still only 90 Kph
69.7*1.3=90.61 Kph

I calculated it like this:
69.7*[1+(2*18.5%)] kph = 69.7*1.37 kph = 95.49 kph

as for my EXE:
69.7*1.185 kph = 82.59 kph

The current MASC is 18% flat, no?
MASC buff is 30%, not 37%.
The extra 7.5% comes from Speed Tweak, which you already included in the 69Kph.

Well, according to this patch note, the MASC IV's speed bonus is 18.5%.

https://mwomercs.com...13405-16jun2015

I thought we will get double MASC speed bonus, but it's "only" 30%?

No, we aren't getting double MASC speed bonus, were getting a double cooldown buff.
It was slated to be 30% even, and 23% for the SadCat.
