The nose will likely still be founder exclusive... notice it's not part of the rest of the model (no paint). And notice this "K2" has both K2 and Jester loads simultaneoulsy? It's a test build, obviously.

But as to the PPCs, they REALLY need to be longer. The whole point was to get them to go back to the original geo. They added back the girth to the PPC barrels, but then shortened them 25-30% from the originals. That, or it's now winter in Canyon Network and we're just seeing shrinkage. Regardles, it looks horrible. Please no stubby PPCs.

Someone get Russ on twitter and ask him to get some length in there.

I imagine a PPC needs some barrel length to get it's charge going before firing. Lots of high tech to stuff into a soup can.

Eh, as long as the pointy bit of the nose is CT I'm gonna be able to hit the CT 95% of the time within the front arc of the mech.

I don't Tweet, obviously, otherwise I definitely would.

But 10x better? Really? I think I'd argue here that moving to a snub-nosed PPC housing of massive girth is no better a solution than the move to the long/thin PPCs we have now. It looks as bad as the current crap, but in a completely different way.

Our goal here was to go back to the original geo, which was both long and girthy. The original geo is the one that looks right... hell... it's the one you and so many of the rest of us have argued for. But that's not what we're getting here. This version just looks... I dunno, stubby. Like an AC/20 in an Atlas purse. Wouldn't you rather them lengthen the barrel back to the proper length?

I didn't like the old model that much, but I hate the current model. I think the new wide girth PPC with the slightly shorter barrel looks bloody brilliant.

i think it looks great

Beside that rock, it seems to look smaller than current IS 55 tonners... or is it just me..?

The sad thing is I put my ppc in the torso and some Mlas in the arms.
If the head is not visible, the ppc are and you just shoot them into the WTF is in front of them. this does leave me to 1ppc and 2uacs 2 mlas and a bigger engine.

I will still play with if 2ppc and 2 uacs with more face time works better in a smaller overall model.

I prefer the current K2's lower ballistic hardpoints aesthetically, but it's nice that they're higher up. Do have to agree on the PPC barrels looking a little stubby, though they probably look better than the current barrels at least.

It's hard to tell from these perspectives, but I do hope they decreased its relative width. The current Cat just looks overweight all around.

I like them fine as modeled or I would not be saying so. Would longer be better? Perhaps, though ONLY if they are wide. I'm content with it as shown.

And so, if you can't be bothered to contact and communicate your dissatisfaction to Russ, then I'd appreciate it you stop spamming these posts. You have a course of action open. YOU choose not to pursue it.
