For unit players... the call to arms popups, which get up in the way of the chat and planet list windows, are extremely annoying and totally pointless...We are constantly making these windows go away for calls to fronts we arent playing on, so that we can still see the chat and planet list windows. This is most apparent in factions with many open fronts to work on.. Unit players already know which planet they are working on or going to be working on...and if they dont they get that info from their leaders, not from the pug zapper. A function designed for solo players should be able to be turned off for team players that NEVER use them...

This could be a simple check box in options... "Disable call to arms popups". Done.

Please consider this for your unit population !!

Thank you !

If I could possibly agree with you more, I would, and the Calls to Arms in my client would be gone permanently. They are an annoyance in the Mechlab as well, covering up the equipment options, and the information summary, which some of us use to assess whether a build is satisfactory or not.

They don't bother me that much ... but yours is a good idea and worth implementing.

A good example of the popups covering the chat and planet list windows... please give us the ability to turn these off if/since we NEVER use them. I have never once intentionally clicked on a call to arms popup. I have zero need to as a unit member.

yes yes yes YES!!!! The call to arms notifications are presently the most annoying feature in the game, especially for those of us that already know how to choose where and when we want to fight. Please add a checkbox to disable call to arms notifications as soon as possible. Thanks!

I'll support this, but I think it should be enhanced in a certain way. Instead of just simply an on/off checkbox, there should be a slider to control how many are allowed. It should have six positions, starting from 'off', and then range from 1 to 5 CTA popups allowed maximum at any one time. That would catch most any user who wants the CTA to act a certain way, by enabling them to configure it to handle their screen resolution. :D

I am sure they will implement the off function. The need here goes without saying.

That would have to be an extra option? Some like it stacked.

Yes. The Call-to-Arms popups are worse than REAL popups. They are awful, and they should feel bad about themselves.

Seriously, though. When they stack seven-high and cover what you're TRYING to accomplish, which may very well BE fighting on one of the planets they're asking you to fight on, or preparing mechs for your drop deck to go fight the CW fight, then it's actually counterproductive.

Also, I'm curious if anyone actually measures (ah, those darned METRIC thingies) how many responses there even ARE to the C2A popups. And who's even answering them: Unit players, solos, new players, who? What's the average wait time for a response to a popup, versus someone who queues up without responding to the popup, and is it having any impact on that time at all?

But really, let us somehow opt out of those things. They're AWFUL. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

Fair enough.

Ideally (key word here) we would get all 3 as options. I like the idea of going side to side because in the correct spot it wouldn't cover any buttons, etc.
