So after years of yearning for a 3D Printer ( of above average quality ) I finally caved in and got myself a Formlabs Form 2...
With none of my own Models being suitable for a quick first test/learning experience I decided to look elsewhere and here we are:
The humble Beginnings of a RVN-4X
If everything works out like planned he'll have all the necessary articulation to be posed in a bunch of poses.
Size when finished and in standing pose will be 20cm not including the antennas.
Getting the Mesh ready for 3D Printing though... What a major pain in the ***...
Can't recall to have ever been as offended like when I was looking at this one - Damn PGI...
Will update it as the parts come out of the printer...
Arms, Hip & Armor Plates will arrive next.
Legs sometime tomorrow - Probably.
Gotta come up with a nice Camopattern :°
P.S. Thanks to Heffay for his Mech Exporting Tutorials.

Coming along...
All that is left are the legs.
If only the support structures wouldn't take up so much additional space

Small Update:
Turned out really well... Bunch of things I'd do different when doing another Model but hey... It was the first one =)
Waiting for the 12V Power Supply to arrive so I can finish baking the Model in a custom UV Oven to further harden the Resin.
Gonna have to get myself some bendable but fairly stiff wires in order to recreate the roll cage on the back.
