So the 40t Coyotl can do....
119km/h
15t of pod space, 11.5t of pod space on the JJ equipped Alpha
Everything is high mounted, likely would have EBJ/MAD style hit boxes, cEndo with a cXL and cDHS
Max armour stock...
The 40t Coyotl sure looks better to me, than the Black Lanner.....

Super fast and small lasers can be done by the Phantom, 15t lighter.

Fire Falcon looks pretty decent at 25t, for an Omni.
You're right about IIC mechs, as the Locust IIC and Commando IIC could be monsters.

You know its a sad, sad thing when people are saying the Phantom is preferable.

Phantom, or mechs like the Firemoth with MASC, make me kinda want the Mech Racing Competitions back from MW3. Those GIGANTIC continental maps. Pushing those supercharged fireflies as hard as you could....

Perfect, a new game mode for MWO, Solaris VII Mech Racing.

The Huntsman might not get my money. I already use a Hellbringer to do what the Huntsman can do. There is a Huntsman variant with ECM but I will bet that it ends up being in the add on pack and will cost extra $$$ to get it. I do not like how slow the Huntsman is for a Medium and I will reserve judgement on its looks until I see what Alex can do for it. Then I may buy it.
Seeing as how they added a IS Hero Mech as a quick add, I would like them to come up with a Hero Hellbringer to bring that chassis up to 4 variants. Randall Bills can create some Lore to go along with it and maybe add a unique pod along with the paint scheme. It would be nice if it was a Hell's Horses hero because they designed and built the Mech but with CHH not being in the game that is probably too much to hope for.

Hellbringer doesn't have JJs where as the Huntsman does. As for speed and handling, it has the same engine as the Nova and would go the same speed, so with speed tweak we ar looking at around 85kph, which is not that bad.
Its also a Medium mech and not a Heavy which will help in group drops or FW while still bringing good firepower.
We probably will not see the ECM Huntsman because it has future tech but then again PGI did say they would consider adding mechs with future tech as long as they have weapons that can be swapped out for weapons that we have now that have the same weight.

Heck, you're a "Kurita" Unit working for the FRR. What do you care?
Doesn't change the fact that the Clan Invasion was the worst thing to ever happen to Btech.
Well, the clan invasion has one thing going for it.
It sure did ignite passions. All these years later and the flame is still there.........

What the heck is the point of 4 ballistic hardpoints on a mech with 11.5 tons of pod space. You can't even effectively use more than one if you aren't using machine guns.
If the Black Lanner is the next mech they choose, it will be the first of the $20 packs this whale doesn't get even the bare minimum package. I've gotten the $20 packs on as a minimum to support that pricing model, but the Black Lanner holds even less interest to me than the Cyclops does.

Agreed. It'll be like another, heavier sadcat.

I'd argue that the harmony gold lawsuits were the worst thing to happen to battletech with the clantech cheese being a close second.

Just to elaborate on your point, you would have the stock armour value 8t of FF to be able to fit a Gauss Rifle with 1t of ammo in the stupid thing... It can't do missiles well, it can't do Ballistics well, it can barely use lasers effectively with out be stupid hot, this thing would be another mech that sees the light of day to be mastered then discarded with the Mist Lynx, Kit Fox, Adder, Nova, Gargoyle, Orion IIC and Highlander IIC. I'm all for bad mechs being added, but I'd like to see strong options added first, then get to the less than optimal things.
