You might need a buddy to look at it while you have the doors open to get a more accurate reading.

However the cats I've seen so far all have the same box so my bet is it will be a default setting. Will try a A1 with LRM90 to see how many tubes are in there.

Who has one? How does it fare? Are the 2 extra hardpoints worth the quirks?
Also a new thread for opening bay doors in the mechbay.

If you compare to a C4 Splatcat you gain 2 ML more of course but that makes this thing alot hotter (sure, not mastered yet). I like the bigger alpha as it rescued my mech with 2 or 3 kill shots but at the moment I think about dropping those and go ERLL for long range capability.
Comparing the C1... I run that with PPCs and ASRM6 and already have not a single crit slot available. If I drop Artemis and take LPL instead of PPCs maybe I could fit 4xSRM4s but I'm not sure how viable that is.

All we need now is a visual from the front, but I bet 10 cbills it will always show those 35 tubes.

That's disappointing...
So it's a static 35 tubes per arm no matter what?
How very disappointing...
Just another case of PGI dropping the ball when it comes to their moronic "dynamic geometry" i guess...

That's nothing.

Here you go, left arm has 3xLRM15 in it, right arm has nothing in the first pic and a single SRM4 in the second.
So no dynamic weapon models here, which is fine imo, at least better than what we had before but we should not talk about that ever again. However you get unlimited tubes so all is launched in one salvo and if you look at the construction you just don't fill everything with smaller launchers. But in the end it *is* a missile box so it is ok to show 35 tubes.
Funny thing, if you equip nothing the door won't open.

Honestly? I can't think of a single mech that has "perfect" dynamic weapon geometry across the board. Every single one has some aspect that's lacking.
The closest one i can think of to being perfect is probably the Catapult-K2/Jester.

But 35 fixed tubes? 35? Why not ... 15? or even 20? I just don't get this decision on a number of levels. I never run cats with that many LRMs in the box. Do they think people run Cats with that many LRMs in the box?

My guess would be that those Boxes are the old models from the C1/A1 and 5x7 just fit nicely. Only 15 would be way to big (only 3x5). So they took the layout that looked best. It isn't even the tube count, so this is likely just for the look.
