Firstly i hope this is the right area to post this in, but i guess a mod will move it if it isn't.
So here's an idea that i just thought of and can't find anything like it already made;
Smurfy is great for trialing builds, but what about a Mech 'search catalogue' like you'd find at your local Mech dealership?
Once all the builds are catalogued, you'd then use simple filters to find the mech you're after.
For instance;
I'd like a Mech with at least 4 ballistic hardpoints, jump jets and AMS.... hit search....
BAM it lists all the Mechs and variants that match those requirements.
I think Smurfy's pricing might be a little outdated as well, so you could include purchase cost of Mech and parts, plus sales value etc to upgrade it once its built
As i mentioned, once its all catalogued it would be easy to build a database around, but maybe all you smart people might be able to come up with a much better graphical interface as well??
I think having a full 'dealership' catalogue that also shows a decent picture (rather than a mechlab layout only) would be awesome =)
Any volunteers or someone willing to help?
