There should be a safety warning that you always have to fasten your seatbelts
On a second thought, I know this is nitpicking and most of the time you don't see it but that dropship model is some lazyass work from the 90es...

Actually it was due to a weird bug. When I first selected the Jager and dropped, I could not get out of the mech select screen for at least 45 seconds. After pressing all the known keys on my keyboard, I finally managed to have my Jager moving again. I dakkad until I ran out of ammo then ejected. And on my death screen, that is what I saw.

And that was even before the upscale it received recently.

thats the new salvage mode, when dropships grab the remains.
But this nicely shows that probably the player gets switched back to the dropship too early without switching the mech first.

Oh, thank you so very much. Now I'll have 80's flashbacks and _that_ song running through my head all day. I'll find you and scratch your mech's paintjob for that some day (no, I'm under no illusion I would be able to kill or seriously damage you, so scratching the paintjob is what I'll have to settle for).

Revenge will be yours, don't worry. 4 years later and I still don't know how to pilot a mech effectively lol.
Well if it makes you feel any better, the dropshop Crew were Cut because they were singing it.

So the entire dropship is just a hollow box with a simple texture where only the bit the player gets to see is actually properly textured. The words "minimum viable product" come to mind when comparing to PGI's other work on MWO.
Edit: I don't quite blame them though. Why add something to the game the player never gets to see anyway?

I was just going to say, why would they texture something that you should never see (unless there is a glitch)?
