[Stone Wall]

So I was the last mech alive 6 vs 1. First game on the Lights Leaderboard for me Friday night.

Killed a near fresh Daishi/Dire Wolf and my team loved it.




Then killed 3 more mechs before dying. I almost had a 4th, but the Timber Wolf had too much armor.




But then PGI says, "Nah your pilot skills didn't change. No soup for you."

I killed a Timberwolf solo on my Sarah's Jenner today, but he was probably a tier or two lower than me in terms of experience. I farmed him for damage after blowing off his energy LT since no one came to help him. :3

The more you keep making these threads, the more likely PGI is to nerf light mechs yet again.

T3 and below light mechs are fun to battle. Especially novice lights. I had an ach with all smalls just stand and shoot my jenner while I torso twisted and blew off both of the ach's legs. Ran the trial ach and it was super easy mode compared to my jenner and locust.

I think the best part about this event is the fact that I'm seeing all types of the "rare" lights being used such as the adr,non 3l ravens and even a panther or two. Too bad once the event is over light q will probably go back to being just 3ls and achs.

He is just trying to grab attention to himself. He has no idea what would be done to him if he actually dueled someone who knew how to play a light.

I think it bases it off your match rating, not plain damage.

Ive had losing matches where I have gotten 400 damage and got an = rating and matches where I have gotten 580 damage and gotten an = rating.

Need to get all those bonuses for light, protected ect

Great match but I did notice 6 kills, no KMDD, no solo kill ect. All of those bonsus add up.

Lights need to get more points for support roles that help the team in addition to Kills and Damage done. There is also still too much weight place on W/L when you are talking about a Tier system that is supposed to rank an individual pilot's skill.

I agree. That's why I'm still in Tier 5. I can get 5-7 kills some games, even with KMDD and solo, but still lose. It seems the Tier system is all about winning. Just luck of the team mate draw in this system. Been playing Jenner almost exclusively and I have about 20 more wins than losses. Hope to move up this weekend with all the Lights playing.

I'm sure you guys have seen the chart about winning > everything.

That really isn't the case. It's more along the lines of: you are not playing in a team based mind set. Remember, PSR calculations reward team play more than 'Rambo' or 'I'm the hero and will carry my team to victory' play styles. Being in Tier 4/5 means you can now adjust your game play to become more aware of what your team is doing as a whole and working together to get a victory. If you see your PSR progress bar move up, you will know you're getting better at this. Players in Tiers 3/2/1 all have the basics down and the higher the Tier, the more small/micro adjustments these players have made to maximize their ability to play as a team and adjust accordingly.

Just because you do not see it yet, does not mean it is not true . Well, mabye the part about T3/2/1 all having the basics down isnt, but where it says TeamPlay is actually more important than Rambo - THAT part is true imho .

1) You're opponents were no match for you.
2) You didn't raise.
3) They all lowered.

Sounds like it's working.
