Like it says in the title, If you want to be able to participate in this weekend's Public Test of the new energy draw system but do not want to go through the trouble of downloading 13gb just follow these steps...

- Download and start the PTS client installer (http://mwomercs.com/...ing-pts-client/).
- once PTS client starts patching pause the download and exit the client.
- copy/paste the contents of your main install directory into the PTS's
- Reopen the PTS client and run the repair tool.
- Now you will only need to download those files that have changed. (approx. 800 mb vs 13gb)

Trying this and hoping it works with the steam version. My net is crap but really want to test this out.

yea i was all ready to install it, but i saw the dl size and said f no. will try this though.

pgi? why cant you just spawn a test install off the main install and just patch the differences. after all this is what this quick fix amounts to. it seems like the launcher should have this capability.

e: works. pgi really needs to write a script or something to handle this automatically and save our data.
