Only it indeed WAS your point and now you're in the defensive because you can't admit you talked nonsense.
Amusing people in here, every day.

That already happens now... I sometimes troll people standing my Wolverine next to their mad dog. I have beagle probe + advanced sensor range installed... I get radar contacts at 1200 meters. I also have a 10% missile range quirk and a LRM range module installed for another 10%. So I lock a target, I shoot at said target. Teammates see same locked target, and lock it also and try and fire on it, to steal the kill (this is especially true during this weekend's leaderboard) hurling their LRM boats into the fray. Except...mine are the only LRMs actually hitting the target so I get the kill, KMDD, etc. Their LRMs fall short and detonate (because apparently in the future, we cannot have unexploded ordinance littering the battlefields), although sometimes they do trigger enemy AMS systems along the way, making it easier for my missiles to get thru as theirs are fired upon.

1200m LRM launches...

I run mine with a command console and BAP. Sadly a UAV is still a thousand times more useful.

Its not the fact that you can max armor, its the fact that PGI thinks thats sensor range matters. I know you can max the armor, again, that wasnt the point.

Why did you make a thread whining about the lack of armor then? The whole topic is pointless if you complain about something stupid, get told that you're wrong, and then say "YEAH DURR HUH HURR I KNEW THAT ALREADY BUT THAT WASN'T MY POINT EVEN THOUGH THAT WAS EXACTLY MY POINT HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"

Would you rather just not have the sensor boost at all?

Get a brain please.

How to make Cyclops useful and interesting:

Quirk allows targeting up to four mechs at once. Target decay bonus equivalent to module that stacks with module.

It would make more sense if the Cyclops gives sensor boost to everyone instead of just those standing within a 100m bubble.

As a scout/narc, that sensor boost is actually very welcomed but as it is right now, it's pretty useless.

You buying the mech solely because of the sensor range buffs? Yeah, I didnt think so.

Odd. I swear I was buying this mech cause it's a 90ton macheen capable of mounting a 400 engine, with good firepower, heat efficiency, and still have close to, or max'd out, armor. We get sensor range boons on top of this? SCORE!!

7 SRM6 2 ML

no little icon next to mechs inside your sensor bubble. It would be handy to play out positioning.

Yet it costs nothing? So whats the problem?

I don't understand. You can max the armour and keep the sensor range, and it has no drawbacks. Am i missing something?
