Description: When Mech Throttle is set to 10% using the Numeric Pad, the Mech doesn't move at all.

Location: Any Mission, in Any Game Mode, including the Testing Grounds and Academy

Reproduction Rate: 100% -- This is ALWAYS Reproducible!!!

Steps to Reproduce:
  • Enter any Mission, even the Testing Grounds or Academy
  • Attempt to set the Throttle to 10% with the NumPad "1" Key, which is supposed to move the Mech at 10% of maximum speed.
  • Mech will be observed as failing to move instead, unless the Throttle is increased.

What Currently Happens: Mech doesn't move at 10% Throttle.

What Should Be Happening: Mech moves at 10% of maximum speed.

Comments: I've unfortunately let this bug slip by for quite a few patches now. Sorry about that. Anyway, I felt it was time to have this one repaired. There's no reason for the Throttle to not be doing what it says it's supposed to do. All the higher settings work, so why not this one as well? :(

Afaik, its done this for as long as I can remember. From what I saw, it depended on the mech top speed.

Does this occur in all mechs?

This happens without regard to what I'm piloting, and affects ALL the weight classes. I can tell you that this has only been going on in the last few months, and only after the Major Patch that caused it to start happening. Prior to that, 10% Throttle actually moved the Mech at 10% of Maximum Speed. I've even kept a check on my game files with the Repair Tool, and it says they check out alright. Therefore PGI has something to fix. I wish that I hadn't let it go this long, but I assumed PGI would just catch it on a natural pass. Did I make a bad assumption, or what? :(

No that makes perfect sense. I think I may just have seen the acceleration metre slightly above or below zero and it not doing anything. I will have a look at using the jumped next time I play.

Word of advice/request. Don't end your posts with that ****. It's super annoying.
