No matter what weapons or engine build I put on the mech I cannot get the invalid loadout warning to be removed which prevents me from using or even saving the mech.

Strip the 'mech (with the STRIP MECH-button), save, rebuild your loadout, save again.

Would work for me until I also stripped all the armor. So strip everything.

Speaking of which,
I still get those two points of bonus armor on my BJ-2, and it's not invalid.

No matter how often is strip it, its invlaid as soon i put 10 heatsinks on it. Whether its 8 or 9 in the engine and the rest as seperated heatsinks, as soon as there are 10 heat sinks in my BJ, its invalid.

Are you using the STRIP MECH-button to do it ?

Don't strip the mech and save a new build with this bug. For some reason there's phantom tonnage and when I stripped it I couldn't put the same build back in. I fixed it by stripping off the armor on the bugged ST (for me at least my LT was missing two points of armor that had been maxed the day before) and it worked fine.

This seems to be a result of the BJ extra armor bug that was corrected in the recent patch. Just drop your armor a couple points, save it, then adjust it again. That should shake the invalid loadout warning.

They hotfixed the one torso to have the correct (lower) values. If you try to edit the build and save without lowering the armor down to the "correct" value, it will give an error because the mech is outside of the allowed ranges for armor. Like others said, strip the armor, save, and reload the mech.
