You know it's true. The only thing that comes up more often then the Mk II is ED.

The Mad Cat is mentioned by a dozen people multiple times in just about any mega thread. How to improve the game? Mad Cat Mk II. Next clan mech? Mad Cat Mk II. Broken promises? Mad Cat Mk II. Next Inner Sphere mech? Mad Cat Mk II.

I'd argue that we get more metacomplaints than actual discussion about the mech. Most posts are just "take a drink," but every once in a while we get to talk about builds and possible hard points and whether or not JJs will be buffed by then.

wait, the mechcon now comes down to preorder announcements? Seriously?

I don't have any hopes to get anything exciting or news about the game there but this is a new low... I mean c'mon how can you be so excited about a single mech anymore?

I like new mechs like the next guy but this becomes slightly silly. We're 4 years in, most of the lifecycle of this game is proably over and all we get these days is new mechs...

The Mk II should perk your ears up. You know it will have Ebon jaguar like arms, it's a Battlemech not Omni. Hard point inflation that the Mk II - 1 might have 2 Ballistics in those arms. Imagine that, an Ebon Jag at 90 tons and quad Ballistics in its arms. Also it can easily do dual PPC dual Gauss with ease, and have JJ's (even if hover jets). She will be a good mech.
