Meanwhile, the latest buff to IS Streaks slip under the radar...
Not anymore! Let's see what you will have to say after vieweing this video, because I'm sure you will have something to say.
What I can say is that I haven't seen a single Archer 5W loaded with Streaks yet after the last patch but I'm sure this is about to change. When I take my time and play cautiously I ususally do 500+ damage with this build. Now I will also have to take a look at the new BJ-2 with a quirk to Streaks introduced with latest event.
I hope you will enjoy the video!

I need to see how they do on a more natural 'Mech with between two and four.

I do find it funny a LOLcust tried to take on a Streak boat, though. Even if they're only isSSRM2s

It's about time those overpowered f*cking light mechs were held in check by weapons that don't actually require aiming skills.
Finally, MWO balance is headed in the right direction.
So tired of seeing Commandos, Urbanmechs and Panthers dominate match after match after match. It gets tiresome, you know?

The BJ-2(L) maybe? The only mech with a quirk on streaks.

It lets you track the Dorito better, you lost it a few times because you couldn't push your arms far enough, but wouldn't have with Arm Lock off.
Modules have no effect there, this is just tracking the Dorito Box.

At this point it is hard to even recognize sarcasm. I uave absolutely no doubt your post was captured, printed and displayed prominently on the fridge in PGIs office as reassurance that their balance decisions have been good ones.

Pretty badly, I'd imagine.
I gave a 6xSSRM2 build a shot against training ground mechs, and it takes a proverbial age to kill anything. I can't imagine it's any better against moving targets, and mechs with more then stock armor, or with fewer launchers. I think if lights are a problem for your SRM boat, Streak isn't the answer - Taking Artemis off and increasing your spread is probably far more effective, while still allowing you to bruise in your own weight class.
They are fun now, though. Kind of like boating AC/2s - Not the most effective solution, but very satisfying all the same.

I started to get really angry for a second there before I saw who was posting and realized it was a joke.

Yeah.
There's a minimum level of performance I will accept even for my fun 'Mechs, and Streak 2s just don't make the cut. Streak 6 do.

Only the knowledge that, some day, in the future, the Inner Sphere enjoys an autocannon advantage over the Clans for 7 glorious years in the form for the ultimate Dakka, the RAC, keeps me warm at night.
And then the dumpster babies from the Diamond Sharks take that too.

The IS RAC is superior to the Clan one even after the Clans develop theirs. Sure, range deficit, but the slot requirements on the Clan one are crippling. It is sweet, sweet justice.
And then there are Light ACs, which have a similar effect.
