Well I dont think it would be fair for them to just throw out invites to people who purchased a founder pack

All I can say is if you purchase a founder pack you can atleast play the game August 7th

These public announcments of founder only access to beta is only really a marketing gimick to get people off the fence and purchase. Its appreciated for sure but its a hell of a sales tool too.

Well ofcourse, they have to make there $ somehow, its free to play so no monthly subscription, and no initial investment on a digital or hard copy of the game, they make there $ on the founder packages, and I am sure other things they will sale later on, kind of like WoT.

Free to play, but it costs $ for rounds that do more damage then normal rounds, and it cost $ to unlock certain tanks ect.

Same concept but in the end its about donations, and $.

I dont mind spending $60 on this game, I am pretty sure I am going to get my $'s worth.

As stated so many times before not until after the 7th or until open beta unless they start adding non founders after we are all in. That will still be closed beta.

Expect a few more Monday (today). Russ is pushing the hardware to the limits.

The new production hardware will be up and running on Tuesday.

It is a safe bet that a crap ton of keys will go out this week just to see if the new servers can handle it.

PGI wants founders to be able to play on release date instead of what happened to Blizzard with Diablo 3. Blizzard low balled their numbers and paid dearly for it, and pissed off alot of fans. I was perfectly fine with PGI pushing the RD back a month so that everything was smooth when we got in. I was a bit disappointed because i stressed to get my new 1k computer up and running before July but its all good.
