At WWW, i found this wonderful picture of an HGN-732 Highlander, also made by "Flying Debris" (Alex Iglesias).
So i had the great idea to make a inofficial picture in classic MW:O Mech-release Style! I don't have Photoshop or any other graphic program, so my good friend and Jaguar crusader-brother "maXx2504" realized my idea. He will show you the result. I'll hope u like it...

Again: It's inofficial! It's not a new released BattleMech Nr.6!

P.S.: Feel free to make some nice repaints!

For some reason this mech always makes me think of Johnny 5, only with legs.

Here is a pic of a Highlander I made when you could buy the extra arms, misslepacks and etc for minis it's been repainted multiple times too so it's not the best job.... I took a pic of a stock highlander and a IIC for comparison too. If I remember correctly, it has vulture torsos, axeman arms (victor barrel on one), wyvren jump packs, the back of a madcat missle shoulder pack on the center torso and a double srm6 turret off a tank. If I remember correctly its 100 tons 3/5/3 center torso cockpit, 2 srm 6 in the head, 2 lrm 20 and 2 srm 4 in the torsos, ac 20 ultra left arm and axe/ er small right. All weaps are clan. oh man that highlander drawing is so old. I think i did that like almost a decade ago, back when i'd still scan in pencil drawings instead of just painting straight into photoshop.

all i can see when i look at it are all the things i did wrong, urgh. gonna have to redo it at some point.

Flyingdebris,

I would love to see you update this image with your current level of skill, as I can honestly say that is the most amazing rendition of my personal favorite Battlemech of all time. I can't see a thing wrong with it, but not being the artist I can understand why you'd see your flaws in the older work.

That said, your work on MWO is downright jaw dropping and I Cannot wait to see what else you've done.

Take care and I look forwards to seeing an updated version of my HGN 732

Don't be modest! I'm sure you have your reasons to claim that, but at this time, it is by far the best HGN-732 picture.
I aggree with "Habokku". An upgraded version of the Highlander would be cool, but pls don't change too much!

If we do get the Highlander (or maybe just when/win), I hope it takes some cues from David White's take on it.

David whites take on it? Can you show us? Hopefully it's not the ugly design from Mechwarrior 4: IS Mechpack, cause that thing is just ugly in my opinion, but opinions are different...

The concept made by Flyingdebris look very similar to the original TRO 2750 Highlander.
The HGN-732 is one of the oldest BattleMechs in the BT-universe and it should looks like its age. Flyingdebris has done it very well.
Again: Hopefully he don't changes too much, cause his current design looks just AWESOME and this beast in front of the MWO Coast Battle is a just epic. I believe, i'm in love with the Highlander. Like a 67' Shelby GT 500. Oldie but goldie. Oh no, my Annihilator will be jealous...

Best time to redo it would be as concept art for the game, I say. ^_^

While seeing your new retake on the highlander is high on my list I am waiting for the Cyclops first, I know you will make it look like the commander it is on the battlefield!

Yesterday i showed my girlfriend the released MW:O mechs and the Highlander concept.
I said: "How do you find them?"
She: "Not bad! The Catapult look cool, but the Highlander look like Johnny 5!"
I: "What? Are you crazy? Have you ever seen a UrbanMech?" ...and showed her a picture of it.
She: "UARGH...That thing look like R2D2!"
I: *speechless*
