I was one of the lucky people who was able to get their hands on a Steam Deck and I was hoping that MWO would be able to play on it but unfortunately it looks like the first roadblock is the MWO launcher and I would suspect some more issues after that issue is resolved, but I just wanted to put it out there that it would be awesome to be able to get MWO working on it.

How are things with MW5 which, in preparation for the later console release, hase been developed towards bein playable with gamepads? I was contemplating getting a Steamdeck for MW5 (and of course other games).

Main problem is OS. When Steamdeck will support installation of Windows, MWO will be available (Probably)

I play MWO on Linux all the time. You need the Glorious Eggroll Proton version.

You can play it in two ways:
a) by installing Window$ (not recommended (at least atm))
B) Get the GloriousEggroll build of Proton, learn some Linux and you're good to go :)
