Just a head's up Adridos, Kai graduates from the New Avalon Military academy this year (3049), after which he joins the FedCom 10th Lyran Guards. He fights for the enemy.

He also fights for St. Ives and against the CCAF during the civil war in the early 60s.

Who cares, he never became Davion, Kuritan, or one of your mercs. He stayed Liao. Chancellor is his cousin.

But... he DID become a FedCom soldier. I'm massively confused. He actively worked against the Capellan Confederation, as does Candace. I don't see HOW that would make him a recruitment tool FOR the Capellan Confederation. He is your enemy.

Yes, but he is 2/3 capellean. His father is no Davion-trueblood.

The Capellan Confederation needs new recruits! They've burned through too many of their human waves...

And the Allards might be connected to the Confederation by blood and history, but they are traitors. It would take decades for Operation Guerrerro to give the Capellans an opportunity to take back some of their pride (and the St. Ives Compact...and even then they couldn't do it without committing a massacre).

I just think it's odd to use a traitor as a source of recruitment. You definitely don't want your soldiers to "be like Kai!"

We want them to be like him. He was just born on the wrong place and time. We "Cappies" are good warriors and we like our country (there are some flaws, but that is everywhere) and so warriors like Kai would be very effective. He just defended his homeland when we "attacked", but never wanted to attack us directly.

Not in 3049 it isn't. Nor was it the year (3030) Kai was born.

I'll have to go back and check that map they gave us a month or so ago where they put it. Maybe they're lumping it in with you (free territory for you guys, nice!) for MWO and breaking the canon.
