If you are using their playspan payment method to use your credit card, make sure you dont use a proxy, vpn or are in a country different from where your cc is registered to, then playspan will blacklist you, making any payment to them impossible.

I know this gets frustrating for some people but it is Playspan and the credit card companies are super careful with online transactions. CC especially if you are outside of NA will be tough. Try Paypal. Sorry for the trouble but there isnt anything PGI can do about it.

Can PGI accept mailed in cashiers checks or wire transfers? These guys are looking for a repeatable solution. Any suggestions besides what we've seen so far?

If your credit card gets declined, call them. Your credit card company may have declined the charge thinking it was fraudulent. Once your credit card verifies it is not fraudulent, try again and it should work. I had the same issue with WOT. Was declined the first time, I called my credit card and verified not fraudulent, then tried again and the charge went through. Appear this guy chose his name aptly.

I'm in North America and am unable to use either my credit card or PayPal from work, home, or my iPhone. This payment system BLOWS.

Think you're just trolling.. but just in case you're not:

Check with your credit card provider. Also check with Paypal (who also occasionally filter purchases to protect against fraud).

With well over 20,000 founders, if the payment system was actually "BLOWS" by your definition, I wonder how all those thousands of people have paid?

Not going to repeat myself any more..

Read the other posts where myself and others have offered sugegstions. If you do need to ask someone on this side of the equation, then contact support... however this is not the side of the equation that is the problem.. and to be perfectly honest "their" payment system is not actually "their" payment system but another company's payment system.. and your grief should be taken out on that company or your own, over-protective nanny of a bank.

I called my bank, my bank is not the issue they have told me the payment is authorized and it should be working.
Clearly the issue lays with the payment processor playspan and from what it looks like other are also having the same issue trying to purchase the game.

What other *suggestions* do you have?

I have tried with PlayScams own Ultimate Points, and they instantly tranfer me to a session timeout page. That is broken. Hopefull they will fix it soon so I can do some serious fragging.

And by serious fraggin I mean running for my life while trying not to get fragged B)

I have no idea if he is trolling, but I'm in the same boat. I've tried Paypal, Amex, MC and my debit card and the payment processor declines all of them. I've spoken to my bank and to Amex, and both say that there is no issue on their end. Playspan is simply blacklisting me, as far as I can tell. I've been in contact with support, but that hasn't helped so far.

It's great that so many others have gotten in with no issue, but that doesn't help those of us that are having issues. Neither does saying we're trolls.

So they can see the authorisation? And it went through? So why isn't it going through? Hrmm? Ask Playspan: http://www.playspan.com/contact

The only time I've had a problem with CC failing is when my address did not match.

The only time I've had a problem with Paypal is when I was in China and trying to make a purchase from China to have a delivery sent to China because my residential address was in Australia.

The point I was making is that this is not an issue with MWO or PGI.. the issues are with PlaySpan or Paypal or your bank, so talk to them about these problems.
