I love it and would really like to see it in the game. I don't know if the canon or the timeline allows it. I just wanna be able to pilot one. Please developers, think about it.

How do you feel about the Shadow Cat? What's your favorite medium mech?

Keep in mind that this game takes place in 3049. It'll be at least two years before you'll see one in action.

Damn, I was afraid of that. Well, maybe not at launch then.

3058 my friend.... 3058.

Don't worry I gotta wait till 3058 to get my grubby little hands on a BlackJack omni. IF they put it in the game

I consider myself lucky in that aspect, my favorite Omni has always been the Vulture. As much as I like some of the later designs, the Vulture has a special place in my heart.

Thats a shame. I liked the shadowcat but it wasn't a favourite of mine so I'll be okay.

3058 didn't do much for me as far as Vat-brat mechs go... I did like a few of them, but there was nothing that made me go 'Ga-Ga'

Im new here, but is all of the game play going to be in the inner sphere? I see all the mechs mentioned are inner sphere, but the the game hasn't launched yet. The shadow cat came out in 3003. Maybe there's going to be some game play back in the clan homeworlds.

My guess is that the game will be focused on the Inner Sphere, with the Clan technology coming in later (maybe season 2 or 3?). This is just a wild guess. I'm gonna have to switch to the Hunchback for now. Hopefully they introduce the Timber Wolf(Mad Cat) later, that would make me happy too.

edit: typos

Why not?

Timberwolf should be in the invading clans (when they show up) TO&E afterall it was the FIRST documented Testtube-baby mech encountered.. Oh that Vlad Ward.

The Scat was allready used on Luthien und Tukayyid. Just because it was featured in the TRO 3058 doesn't mean production started that year.

The Shadow Cat was first produced in 3003 by Clan Nova Cat as an alternative to the Ice Ferret. It was so freakin' good at it's job that 6 other clans picked it up also, the Smoke Jaguars, Wolves, Diamond Sharks, Cobras, Fire Mandrills, and Steel Viper. My personal opinion, and I typically hate Clan designs, is that the Shadow Cat is as close to perfect as you can get in a 45-ton 'Mech.

The ultimate badass medium mech. If it had two more tons of armor, it would be invincible.

Really, It's a damnation. I use heavy mechs all the time, and if a scat and an atlas are on the battlefield, i prefer to know where the scat is all the time. it's a dangerous thing, and one tends to forget it because of it's side, but it packs enough puch to mess off your day. No equal on the inner sphere.

The Shadow Cat is a "must have" for all of the invading clans. Fast, powerful, tough and good looking. I would prefer the Nova or Stormcrow, but the Shadow Cat is still one of the best medium clan OmniMechs.

I feel that if you truly have love for it, then you would at least respect it enough to call it by the true name, Mad Dog, and not the Inner Sphere nickname for it. Yes it is personal preference, but if you are going to pilot it, please respect the 'Mech, thank you!
