Don't really want to commit to playing MWO on a regular basis, but want to find people to drop with more easily whenever you have time to log on?

How to find us
All of our current members who are still alive tend to be on the Gensōkyō Discord Channel. We still have people playing MWO, and we're probably going to participate in Tukayyid 3, but it'll be easier to find us on Discord than on this thread.
Rules of Gensōkyō

Offenders will be sent to The Factory. Which may or may not be narrated by Duncan Fisher. Probably not, because voice actors cost too much .

Application Requirements

• Being able to take it easy. There are many Merc Corps who are serious about winning, kill/death ratios and win/loss ratios. This is not one of them. Though everyone likes to win, we care more about fun than victory.
  
• Ability to speak English. Whether or not you want to use VOIP is up to you. Being able to speak Japanese is a plus since it's 東方 themed and all, but the language we generally use should be English.
  
• Liking 東方 Project is optional, but would give us something else to talk about. Other than giant robots.
  
• Ability to Master Spark is optional, but preferable.
  
• Ability to bake cookies, scones, cakes, pie and pizza is optional, but preferable. Ability to clean the Scarlet Devil Mansion is optional, though it would be preferable if you don't carry knives.

Player Skill Requirements

None. Complete newbies are welcome, and you might find that having us on your team might make it easier for you to learn since you could ask questions, spectate us if you're dead, tag along to someone else to learn... and of course, since you'd be less likely to die you can spend more time alive and learning. If you're the very competitive type who wants to win every match, there's probably a more performance-oriented clan out there for you - but I'd say the average member here currently is at least 'very good' or better. No idea how it turned out that way considering that we never imposed a skill entry requirement.

Whatever you want to use.

Or, join the unit ingame. As far as I know all members have the ability to invite.

How Do I Leave?

You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.
Just go inactive. There will always be a place for you here if you decide to come back one day.

What if I'm already in another unit/faction in CW?

It's up to you if you want to stay there. Of course we can't drop together in CW without being in the same unit, but we can still drop together for normal games.

What are you doing for CW?

At the moment we're farming mechbays from all factions - my faction on the left is what we're currently doing. We might eventually settle on one faction or another though.

Official Time Zone

None. Play at any time you like. The more people there are in the clan, the more likely it will be that you'll run into someone online.
